Watch out! Beavers about!

Argyll has long been known to be rich in wildlife and biodiversity. Along with our already-strong seal colonies and otters, there has been a recent re-introduction of beavers into Scotland within the Knapdale area.

After nearly 400 years without the beaver, we will have the opportunity to keep up-to-date on this fascinating species and its growing population. Fingers crossed, we will be able to add them to our ever-expanding wildlife highlights soon!

Immediately on coming aboard, we were aware of a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere, which just grew and grew. The food and service excellent. Nothing too much trouble.
